Her experience has lead her to attend music camps in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Beauly, Scotland. She has experience studying Scottish fiddle with members of Blazin' Fiddles, Beolach, Capercaillie, and Session A9. About fifteen years ago she was introduced to Irish music through her accordion teacher. She's played for multiple Irish feis competitions around the US, and has been in an Irish band for twelve years. In order to improve her technique, she backpacked around Cork and Galway to play and learn in their local sessions -- she has some great stories. Celtic music is rich in history and tradition which needs to be passed on. With every tune there is a story, and each style holds its country's traditions. She is looking forward to the FiddleStar Adult Camp to teach you the tunes and techniques she has learned in her travels.
